Web9 jun. 2024 · Experimenting on a corner I used the edge of an old memory simm to scrap away the sticky film. Then used 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the remaining film. Cleaned up pretty good. You can see the little ball of "Stick Stuff" that scraped off the corner. Then cleaned with the alcohol. The other thing you could try is a skin. WebSand the rubber down to fresh rubber, wash with dishwashing liquid and dry. You can fully restore the rubber to like-new with a 0000-Steel Wool rub-down and get it back to smooth and shiny. I'd try some sort of alcohol, such as surgical spirit or meths.
